  1. Who performs my scan?
    • Only Philippine Board-certified  OB-GYNECOLOGISTS Sonologists and  Perinatologists (High-risk Pregnancy specialists) perform the scan.
    • Thus, if  we see the need to immediately report to your attending OB-GYN the status of your baby, we can call them immediately to discuss the case so your baby can be closely monitored  throughout your pregnancy.
  1. At what stage of pregnancy should I visit for my 3D4D scan?
    • We recommend visiting between weeks 28 and 32, when we can generally acquire the best facial images.
    • Women with twins should visit around 25-26 weeks as twins have less space.
    • FOR CONGENITAL ANOMALY SCANNING in 3D4D view, you can come anytime starting 20 weeks age of gestation or as per request of your attending OB-Gynecologist.
  1. At what week can you visualize clearly my baby’s gender?
    • We can usually determine your baby’s gender by week 16 depending on the fetal position
    • You can always come back for FREE if the baby’s gender is not accurately seen on your first scan, provided, it is done within 7-14 days from the time of first scan.
  1. What factors determine the quality of my 3D4D images?
    • The most important factor is the position of the baby.
    • Other critical factors are the amount of amniotic fluid, and the amount of tissue between the probe and the baby.
    • We guarantee a RETURN- SEVERAL TIMES -FOR FREE until such time that the face is beautifully captured in picture and video, provided it is done within 30 to 60 days from the time of first scan.

  1. How many guests may I bring?
    • Most of our clients bring friends or family to their appointment.
    • Our viewing room provide comfortable seating  for 3-5 guests as of now but as we transfer to our new home in the new building between Landmark and Makati Shangri-la Hotel, we can accommodate up to 8 guests. We use a home theater projector to display a 50” image so everyone in the room can easily see your new baby.
  1. How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?
    • As of now we only accept a first –come first -served basis as we are occupying a small 20 sq meter space and we have only 1 machine at the moment.
    • HOWEVER, COME NOVEMBER 2, 2007, we will be transferring to a BIGGER SPACE to our new home in the new building between Landmark and Makati Shangri-la Hotel.
    • By then, we can accommodate BOTH WALK-INS and BY- APPOINTMENT Schedules thru PHONE OR VIA THE INTERNET AT OUR WEBSITE, as we will be having an additional 3D4D ultrasound machine in our new and bigger place.
  1. How much time should I plan for my visit?
    • The packages with 30 minute 3D4D ultrasound sessions take about 40 minutes to an hour
    • If baby’s position is still unfavorable for a 3D4D capture, then, we guarantee a RETURN -SEVERAL TIMES- FOR FREE until such time that the face is beautifully captured in picture and video, provided it is done within 30 to 60 days from the time of first scan. (RE-SCAN days are anytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays only)

    • The packages with 10 minute ultrasound sessions (fetal biometry, gender determination ) take about 20 minutes.
    • BPP (biophysical profile) takes around 30 minutes
    • Detailed Congenital Anomaly Scanning takes around 45 minutes to an hour).
    • We suggest that you eat well before the procedure.
  1. Is 3D4D Ultrasound safe?
    • Our machine, The GE Voluson 730 PRO is used by the world’s finest prenatal clinics and is as safe as the ultrasound machine used at any world-class hospital facility or clinic.
    • Ultrasound technology has been the subject of hundreds of clinical studies over the past 30 years and has not been shown to cause any harm to the mother or baby.  We urge you to speak with your attending OB-GYN about the SAFETY OF ULTRASOUND whether it is 2D, 3D or 4D.
